More about T’s Threads

T’s Threads was born from a rekindled passion and a desire to create something meaningful out of what already exists. Like many of us, lockdown gave me the time to return to an old love; sewing. I’ve adored clothes since I was little, and I first learned to sew at a local club when I was about 13. Life and university got in the way, and for years I barely touched a needle and thread.

During lockdown I started sewing again making scrubs with a sewing group for local hospitals. After lockdown, I fell ill with Long Covid. During my recovery, on the days I feel a little stronger, I began sewing again just to bring a bit of joy and normality back. That’s when T’s Threads was born.

I started by making bags from old clothes I’ve collected over the years, pieces too special to throw away but never worn. Now, I continue to create clothing and accessories using only repurposed fabrics, sourced from donations or anything interesting I can get my hands on.

Every item is one-of-a-kind, made with care, creativity, and a commitment to sustainability, giving new life to forgotten fabrics and celebrating the beauty of making something new from something old.
